Hindu American Summit: The first Hindu-American summit has been held in the Parliament Capitol Hill in the largest Christian country America (US). The recently formed ‘Americans Hindu’ Political Action Committee organized this summit there. This conference was named as Americans for Hindus.
According to the report of Hindustan Times, in the first Hindu-American summit held in America, American Christian MPs talked about the interests of Hindus. During this, an American MP Richard McCormick said that American Hindus have the power to elect the next President. After this the whole hall echoed with thunderous applause.

It is being told that the Hindu-American summit in the US Parliament started with Vedic chants and prayers. This conference was organized with the support of 20 Hindu organizations. An official of the Americans4Hindu Political Action Committee told that the purpose of the Hindu-American summit was to draw the attention of law makers in America towards the problems of the people of the Hindu community living in America. Romesh Japra, the organizer of this conference, said that our community has done excellent work in every field.
About 130 Indian American leaders from states like Florida, New York, Boston, Texas, Chicago, California participated in this conference. At the same time, there was also news that this conference would be addressed by the Speaker of the American House of Representatives (House Speaker) Kevin McCarthy.
