Jasprit Bumrah Shreyas Iyer Comeback Team India: The date of Asia Cup 2023 has been announced. It will be organized from 21 August. Along with this announcement, a good news has come for Team India. Fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Shreyas Iyer can return to the field soon. Both these players are running out of Team India due to injury. According to a report, Iyer and Bumrah can make a place in the Indian team for the Asia Cup. Both of these will be investigated in the National Cricket Academy.
Bumrah and Iyer have recently undergone surgery after injury. Because of this, both these players were not a part of Team India for the World Test Championship final. Bumrah was also out of IPL 2023. According to a news from Cricinfo, the medical staff of the National Cricket Academy will examine both these players. Bumrah has undergone back surgery. He went to New Zealand in March for this. Bumrah is currently undergoing physiotherapy.
Shreyas Iyer is also walking out due to lower back problem. Iyer had undergone surgery in London. Shreyas is also undergoing physiotherapy like Bumrah. He played the last international match in March 2023. Iyer played a Test match against Australia. Since then, he has not been able to return to Team India. Shreyas also could not play in IPL 2023. But now he is expected to return to the field soon.
Please tell that Team India’s wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant is also running out due to injury. Pant is out of the Indian team since the car accident. They are also on recovery mode. Rishabh recently shared an update on his recovery on Instagram. Pant was also not a part of the World Test Championship final due to injury.
