Air Taxi Services in Pakistan: A new technique of transport has been invented amidst the cost of petrol and diesel in Pakistan due to the economic crisis. There Sky Wings company is going to start Air Taxi service, this service will start from June 18 in Karachi. This has been announced by Imran Aslam Khan, Chief Operating Officer of Sky Wings Company.
According to Pakistan’s ‘The Tribune’ news, Aslam Khan, COO of Sky Wings Company, said that Pakistan’s first air taxi service will officially start from June 18 after 2 air taxis of his company reached Karachi. During a press conference after the inauguration ceremony in Karachi, COO Aslam said that online applications can be made in a few days to avail the air taxi service.
Air Taxi Service between Kangali in Neighboring Country
Aslam said that through air taxi service, instant arrival and departure can be done in remote areas across the country. Regarding air taxi ticketing and landing, he claimed that there are around 29 airstrips located across the country, out of which around eight are fully operational. At the same time, regarding the application of air taxi, he said that talks are going on with a foreign and a Pakistani company for this. He said, “It is a matter of great pleasure that the Pakistani company is starting air taxi service, and there is a lot of interest among the people for this.”
Claim- Foreign companies are also contacting
Captain Asim Nawaz, CEO of Sky Wings, claimed that international companies are approaching him for business participation as well. He said that apart from nine airports and private airports in the country, this service will also operate from Rahim Yar Khan and Balochistan. CEO Nawaz said that this service will be gradually expanded across the country.

How will be Pakistani air taxi
According to CEO Captain Asim Nawaz, the air taxis included in his aviation fleet are capable of flying at a speed of 300 kilometers per hour and can fly at an altitude of 14,000 feet during flight.
This service has already started in India
Let us tell you that before Pakistan, this service started in Chandigarh, India. Where Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated India’s first air taxi service from Chandigarh airport on 14 January 2021 under the UDAN scheme of the central government. It takes just 40 minutes to reach Hisar from Chandigarh.
