DAVV CUET 2023: Students of Indore desirous of admission in Central University and other big universities including Devi Ahilya University have faced a big problem. Examination centers for many students for CUET PG have been set up in different cities of Gujarat, Rajasthan. Test centers for more than 3000 students of Indore who have applied have been set up in Ahmedabad, Surat, Mehsana and other cities. Regarding this, the CUET in-charge of DAVV has mailed and tweeted to the Prime Minister’s Office, the DG of the examination agency NTA and others.
Issue of online admit card of students
A day before, the online admit cards of the students appearing in CUET PG were issued. The problems of the students increased after seeing the admit card. Many children of Indore have been given centers hundreds of kilometers away for the test starting from 17th June. Apart from Indore, the children of Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior have also been given centers in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad, Surat, Mehsana. Apart from this, some cities of Rajasthan have also been made centers.
The great thing is that in the choice feeling, the children had written the option of examination centers like Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal. Despite this, the NTA allotted centers to the children in other states. DAVV CUET in-charge Dr. Kanhaiya Ahuja has mailed all concerned including senior officials of PMO, NTA regarding this.
DAVV is now trying to change the center
Please tell that NTA is conducting the CUET exam. NTA has canceled centers in some cities of Gujarat affected by Biparjoy cyclone. But a few hours before the examination, a lot of trouble has arisen for the examinees and their parents due to the decision of the examination centers of other states. NTA said in preliminary discussion with DAVV that due to the high number of students in Indore, it was decided to give Gujarat and Rajasthan test centers to the examinees. DAVV is now trying to get the center changed. However, what final decision the NTA takes regarding the examination centers has to be seen.
