‘It is difficult for Pakistan to choose between America and China’, why did Heena Rabbani Khar say this

Hina Rabbani Khar On US-China: The dispute between America and China is well known. America wants to reduce Chinese dominance on South China Sea. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar spoke on the issue of America and China. He said that Pakistan is not interested in taking sides between the two countries.

Hina Rabbani Khar said that Pakistan has always had good relations with China and America. However, according to the report of The News, Hina Rabbani said that Pakistan is apprehensive that the relations between America and China may end completely. If this happens then it will not be easy for Pakistan to choose any one.

‘Our relationship with China strong’

Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs Secretary Hina Rabbani Khar, while giving an interview to the American website Politico, said, we have a history that our relations with America have been good. We have no intention of leaving America’s side. Our relations with China have also been strong. China has also become a threat to other countries. Front-line countries closely watch Pakistan in the race for political influence in Asia.

Pakistan came closer to China
On the other hand, India has good relations with America. Pakistan has been close to China. The biggest reason for this was the start of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). However, the US is still an important military partner for Pakistan, as last year the US State Department provided $450 million to Pakistan for the maintenance of F-16 fighter jets. At the same time, Beijing has recently promised to deepen economic investment and military cooperation with Pakistan.
