Hindu American Summit 2023: The dominance of Indians is increasing in America (US), the largest Christian country. More than 30 lakh people of Indian origin live there, and they are the most educated section of people there. Now an American lawmaker has announced that he will form a Hindu Caucus in the US Congress, in which like-minded leaders will be brought together.

The name of the MP who announced the formation of Hindu Caucus is Shri Thanedar. He has a lot of influence in American politics, he is already a member of the Samosa Caucus present in the US Parliament. The Samosa Caucus is a group of MPs of Indian origin, which raises issues related to India in the US Parliament. Now preparations have been started to form a Hindu caucus there, whose objective will be – there should be no hatred and discrimination against Hindus in America.

First Hindu-American conference in US Parliament Capitol Hill
According to the report of Hindustan Times, just 7 days before PM Modi’s visit to America, the first Hindu-American conference was organized in the US Parliament Capitol Hill. In which the MPs there openly praised the Hindus. In the Hindu-American conference organized at Capitol Hill, Mr. Thanedar said that our religion likes to live in peace. We are not against anyone, but I would also like to say that every person should have the right to choose his religion.

Shri Thanedar is originally from Karnataka.
Shri Thanedar was born on 22 February 1955 in Belagavi, Karnataka. He had settled in America. There he contested from the Democratic Party. In 2021, he became a member of the Michigan House of Representatives.

Speaking at the Hindu American Conference, Thanedar said that it is important that every human being should have the right to choose his religion. People can pray to their God without any fear and discrimination, it is a fundamental right of a person.
