Burqa In Hyderabad College: Although the hijab controversy seems to be calming down in Karnataka, its heat is seen reaching the neighboring state of Telangana. In a college in Hyderabad, a case has come to the fore of preventing girl students from appearing in the examination wearing a burqa. The girl students have alleged that they had to wait for half an hour and were allowed to appear in the exam only after removing the burqa.

According to an ANI report, on Friday (June 16), Muslim girl students at KV Rangareddy Women’s Degree College in Hyderabad came to appear for the examination wearing burqas, but the college administration did not allow them inside. The girl students told that they were forced to take off the burqa and were told that they cannot go to the exam hall wearing a burqa. You have to come inside after taking off the burqa, after the exam is over you can wear it again outside.

Home Minister of Telangana said – do not wear short clothes

When Telangana Home Minister Mehboob Ali was questioned on this matter, he said that everyone is free to wear clothes of their choice but short clothes should not be worn which worsens the situation. He also said that women should be especially careful because less clothes cause problems.

European dress is not good – Mabbub Ali

Mehboob Ali’s statement has been shared by ANI, in which he is saying that “some headmaster or school principal might be doing this mistake (forbidding burqa) but our policy is a completely secular policy. If he wants, he can wear the dress, but don’t wear the dress like European culture, it is not good, it makes the situation worse. Wear the dress according to Islamic or Hindu culture, in which most of the part is covered.

The minister said that we should respect our cultural dress. Women should especially take care of this. On the other hand, when the minister was asked to stop wearing a burqa in the college, he said that there is no ban on wearing burqa anywhere. He talked about taking action against the college administration.
