In fact, starting next month, Amazon Prime members will get a discount on every Uber ride. For this, they just have to pay for the ride through Amazon Pay.

This is how you will get cashback

E-commerce website Amazon and Uber recently announced the second phase of their partnership and told that now Amazon Prime members will get additional benefits while booking a ride on Uber. Starting May 2023, Amazon Prime members will get 5 percent cashback on unlimited rides. For this, they will have to pay for the ride through Amazon Pay. The company will also give 5% discount on the ride in different ways. That is, out of total 5 percent, users will get 4 percent as Uber credit and 1 percent as Amazon Pay cashback. Prime members can use this cashback to save money on future Uber rides and shop for less on Amazon.in.

This benefit was given in the first partnership

The first partnership between Amazon and Uber took place in 2022. The company then gave the benefit of UberPremier to Prime members at the cost of UberGo. Additionally, it offered up to 20% off on 3 upgrades per month and up to 3 trips per month for Uber Auto, Moto, Rental and Intercity services, which was around Rs.60.

Prime Lite plan launched from Amazon

Amazon has recently launched a cheap annual plan called Prime Lite. The cost of this plan is Rs 999 and it comes with a validity of 12 months. In Prime Lite, users will get HD content and support of 2 devices.
