The three people who were murdered have been identified as student Grace O’Malley-Kumar, her friend Barnaby and the school’s caretaker Coates. All three were stabbed by a man on a Nottingham street.

According to the report of The Telegraph, the incident took place on Tuesday, June 13 in Nottingham, UK (United Kingdom) where a man named Waldo Amissao Mendes Caloquen attacked him. The police produced him in the court today, 17 June Saturday. At the Nottingham Magistrate’s Court he gave his name as Waldo Mendes. The magistrate has ordered to keep him in custody. Also said that he should be presented at Nottingham Crown Court next Tuesday.

Local media reported that Waldo Mendes has citizenship of two countries, Portugal and Guinea-Bissau. Along with murder, a case of attempt to murder has also been registered against Waldo. The murderer was from the same university as Grace

Who was Grace Omali Kumar
Grace was the daughter of a British doctor of Indian origin. His father had saved the lives of teenagers suffering from knife attacks in 2009, due to which he was highly appreciated there. Grace came into limelight when she played under-18 in hockey for England. She was the best cricketer there. Now after his murder, England Hockey has organized a tribute meeting in memory of Grace. Grace’s family wants the killer to be punished severely.
