Nepal President Hospitalized: Nepal’s President Ram Chandra Poudel has been admitted to the Manmohan Cardio Thoracic Vascular and Transplant Center of Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital on Saturday (June 17) morning after complaining of chest pain.
Chiranjibi Adhikari, Private Secretary to the President of Nepal, told news agency ANI that the health condition of President Ram Chandra Paudel is normal. Government officials in Nepal said that in April this year, Paudel had chest and stomach problems, after which he was taken to Delhi for treatment.

Apart from this, 78-year-old Paudel had spent five days at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu after complaining of chest discomfort in the month of April itself.
Hospitalized for the second time this week
Nepal’s President Ram Chandra Paudel had also complained of chest pain on Tuesday (June 13), after which he was admitted to the hospital. The Kathmandu Post newspaper quoted the President’s office as saying that Paudel was admitted to the Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center in Bansbari at 11 am. The newspaper quoted Paudel’s personal doctor, Neeraj Bam, as saying, “Nothing serious has happened to the President. He has gone to the hospital for a routine check-up.”
Successful treatment was done in AIIMS
Nepalese President Ram Chandra Paudel had abdominal pain and difficulty in breathing in the beginning of April. After this he was admitted twice to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajganj. At the same time, at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, India, there was successful treatment of chest related disease, after which his health improved and he went to Nepal.
