US Green Card: The government led by US President Joe Biden has taken a decision regarding the Green Card before the visit of Indian PM Narendra Modi to the US. The Biden administration has relaxed card-related rules for people waiting for green cards to work and live in the US. For this, the government has also issued policy guidelines.
The guidelines related to the Green Card have been issued by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Releasing the guideline, he informed that thousands of Indian professionals are expected to get help under the eligibility criteria for the new application for Employment Authority Document (EAD) during exigent circumstances in the US.

The immigration law provides for the issuance of approximately 1,40,000 employment-based green cards every year. USCIS guidance outlines specific requirements that green card applicants must meet to be eligible for initial EAD based on extenuating circumstances.
