England all out Australia on a score of 386 runs, Usman Khawaja’s brilliant century


AUS vs ENG 1st Test Ashes 2023: The first Test match of the Ashes series 2023 between Australia and England is being played in Birmingham. Australia scored 386 runs in the first innings till all out on Sunday, the third day of the match. During this Usman Khawaja scored a century. He played a brilliant inning of 141 runs. Alex Carey and Travis Head scored half-centuries. Stuart Broad and Oli Robinson took 3-3 wickets for England. Moin Ali also got 2 wickets.

England had declared the first innings after scoring 393 runs. In response, the Australian team was all out on a score of 386 runs. Khawaja scored 141 runs in 321 balls. He hit 14 fours and 3 sixes. Alex Carey scored 66 runs facing 99 balls. He hit 10 fours and a six. Head scored 50 runs in 63 balls. He hit 8 fours and a six.

In the first innings for Australia, David Warner and Khawaja came to open. Warner was dismissed after scoring just 9 runs. After this Marnus Labushen became a golden duck. He got out on the score of zero. Cameron Green scored 38 runs in 68 balls. Captain Pat Cummins was dismissed after scoring 38 runs. Scott Boland got out on zero.

Ollie Robinson bowled brilliantly for England. He took 3 wickets for 55 runs in 22.1 overs. Robinson also took 5 maiden overs. Stuart Broad took 3 wickets for 68 runs in 23 overs. He took out 4 maiden overs. Moeen also got two wickets. He took 2 wickets for 147 runs in 33 overs. James Anderson and Ben Stokes also got one success each.

Please tell that England had declared the first innings by scoring 393 runs with the loss of 8 wickets. Joe Root scored an unbeaten century for the team. He had scored 118 runs. Jack Crowley scored 61 runs. Bairstow contributed 78 runs.
