Lok Sabha Elections: Retired IPS officer Rajeev Ranjan Singh in Jharkhand joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. After taking membership of BJP, Rajeev Ranjan said that BJP is the most suitable platform for serving the nation. While addressing the meeting organized at the state BJP office, state president Deepak Prakash said that all Jharkhandis are determined to once again bring the Modi government to the center and remove the Hemant government from the state.
Welcoming the retired police officer Rajeev Ranjan, Deepak Prakash said that, as he faithfully performed the duty of a police officer, in the same way he should become successful in the second innings of his social political life. Subodh Singh Guddu, in-charge of Jamshedpur metropolis duly got online membership to Rajeev Ranjan on the toll free number of the party. Retired IPS officer Rajeev Ranjan Singh has served in many districts including Ranchi, Jamshedpur in Jharkhand and he is well aware of the political, social and economic structure of the state.

Taking the membership of BJP, Rajiv Ranjan Singh said that he has taken the membership of the party after waiting for one year.
