Had Netaji been alive…, Congress retaliated on Ajit Doval’s statement, said- He was Shyama Prasad…

Ajit Doval On Partition: National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval gave a statement on Saturday (June 17) about Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in Delhi. During this, he said that if Netaji was alive, the partition of India would never have happened. Now the Congress has retaliated on this statement.

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said, Ajit Doval, who does not speak much, has now joined the league of spoilers. Responding to Ajit Doval’s claim, the Congress leader called Syama Prasad Mukherjee, a BJP icon and Jana Sangh leader, a supporter of the partition of Bengal. Before what else the Congress leader said, let us know the statement of Ajit Doval, which he gave about Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

Partition would not have happened if Netaji was there – Ajit Doval

NSA Ajit Doval was speaking at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Memorial in Delhi on Saturday. During this, he had said, “Netaji also had the courage to challenge Mahatma Gandhi. I am not saying good or bad, but there are very few similarities between such people of Indian history and world history, who have the courage to flow against the stream.” It was daring and not easy.”

He further said, “Netaji got this thought in his mind that I will fight the British, I will not beg for freedom. This is my right and I will get it. Partition of India would not have happened without Subhash Chandra Bose. Jinnah Said that I can accept only one leader and that is Subhash Chandra Bose.”

Congress counterattack

Countering Doval’s statement, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh responded by tweeting. They said-

  1. Did Netaji challenge Gandhi? Of course, he did.
  2. Was Netaji a Leftist? Of course, they were.
  3. Was Netaji secular? Of course, there were more bouts.
  4. Had Netaji been alive, would there not have been partition? Who can say because by 1940 Netaji had formed the Forward Block. You can have your opinion on this but it is a contradictory question.

Jairam Ramesh further wrote, Doval did not say one thing. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was the one who supported the partition of Bengal despite strong opposition from Netaji’s elder brother Sarat Chandra Bose.

I am sending Doval a copy of Rudranshu Mukherjee’s excellent 2015 book Parallel Lives. They should at least know some real history.
