‘Modi and Shah do not like Gadkari’, controversy over removal of Savarkar chapter, Congress sarcasm

Karnataka Syllabus Controversy: The BJP is opposing the removal of chapters based on Hedgewar and Veer Savarkar from the books of the Karnataka government. Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari criticized this decision of the Congress government as unfortunate. After this, now Congress spokesperson Gaurav Vallabh has retaliated.

Congress leader Gaurav Vallabh said, we believe that the students of India and Karnataka should read about the ideology of Bhimrao Ambedkar, Jawaharlal Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi instead of the ideology of KB Hedgewar and VD Savarkar.

Gaurav Vallabh also said, ‘PM Modi and Amit Shah do not like Nitin Gadkari, so they are trying to please the RSS. How do we take forward the ideology about which Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had said five days ago that Mahatma Gandhi’s killer Godse was the son of India. Should we take forward the ideology in which freedom fighters were informed by taking a pension of 60 rupees from the British.

Actually, Nitin Gadkari was addressing on the occasion of the release of a book based on VD Savarkar in Nagpur on Saturday (June 17). During this, he said, “It is very unfortunate that the chapters related to Dr. Hedgewar and Veer Savarkar have been removed from the school syllabus. Nothing can be more painful than this. Savarkar was a social reformer and he is an ideal for us. It is unfortunate that the chapter on Dr. Hedgewar and Savarkar is being removed from the school curriculum and there is nothing more unfortunate than that.” He also said that no one should criticize Savarkar without knowing him.
