Terrorist CMA Bashir is considered one of the early radical leaders of banned Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) in India. Basheer is alleged to have been involved in the 2002-03 Mumbai blasts case. In this blast, 12 people lost their lives and many were injured. In this case, a red corner notice has also been issued against Basheer.

Terrorist Bashir is also known as Chaneparambil Mohammad Bashir. Basheer was caught while trying to flee to Canada. On the basis of the Red Corner notice issued by the Interpol against Basheer, there are murder, terrorist conspiracies, conspiracy and other charges against him, he has also been arrested on these charges.

Basheer did Diploma in Engineering
Basheer was born in the year 1961 in Kaprassery village of Kerala, he holds a Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering. Later he emerged as a prominent leader of SIMI in Aluva Town. In the late 1980s, Basheer was made the All India President of SIMI. Not only this, Bashir inspired many youths to carry out terrorist activities and played an important role in radicalizing the youth.

According to officials, Basheer was also associated with the Indian Mujahideen, whose operations were being conducted from Middle Eastern countries. Basheer was living a low profile life in Canada since 2011, although agencies are probing the period of his stay in Canada.
Bashir had received terrorist training from the ISI during his visit to Pakistan in the early 1990s. In the year 2011, Basheer’s name was included in the list of India’s 50 most wanted terrorists. Basheer is now 62 years old, but Basheer was still on the radar of intelligence agencies.
