Delhi Crime News: The IFSO unit of the Special Cell of Delhi Police has busted an international gang, which was extorting money from American citizens by threatening them. Delhi Police claims that this gang had cheated 50 American citizens of about $20 million. The police also say that the number of victims could be even higher.
The special thing is that the Delhi Police got information about this whole matter from the FBI. The police carried out this operation only after getting information from the FBI. Delhi Police also told that a few days back, a similar operation was carried out in which 6 people were arrested. That gang also used to cheat American and Canadian citizens.

HGS Dhaliwal, Special Commissioner of Delhi Police’s Special Cell, said that recently, the Special Cell received information from the FBI that some people are cheating the citizens of their country, who are of Indian origin. In this input a person’s name was mentioned as Parth Armarkar. The FBI also told that he is a resident of Gujarat, but he is operating from Uganda. The team of Special Cell immediately started the investigation.
Police got information that Parth is in Gujarat these days and while living here, he had called an American citizen and demanded money. This time he was demanding gold bar from the victim. While taking action, the police arrested Parth and his accomplice Vatsal Mehta from Ahmedabad. Apart from this, two of his associates Prashant and Deepak Arora have been arrested from Uttarakhand. The gang used to scare American citizens in the name of an American officer named Uttam Dhillon.
Who is Uttam Dhillon?
Uttam Dhillon is an officer in the US Drug Enforcement Agency. He had also informed the American investigative agencies in this context that some people are harassing people by using his name. Police say that Uttam Dhillon is of Indian origin, that is why this gang was using his name, because when this gang used to call American citizens, they found the name matching with the colloquial accent.

He used to tell American citizens that they were connected to child pornography material found on the Mexico border. If legal process is to be avoided then penalty will have to be paid.
