Karnataka Cabinet Changes School Syllabus: The Karnataka government has made some changes in the school syllabus here. The cabinet has revised the school textbook and some chapters have been added and some have been removed. The newly elected government has made these changes in the school syllabus. Broadly speaking, it can be said that the chapters on RSS founder Baliram Hedgewar and Savarkar have been removed. At the same time, chapters based on Jawaharlal Nehru and Ambedkar have returned to the syllabus. A five-member committee has been formed for these changes.

New syllabus will be implemented from this year

The new syllabus will be implemented from this year itself. year 2023Students of -24 will find these changes in their books and they will have to study accordingly. The state government says that these changes made in the syllabus are in the interest of the students. After approval from the cabinet, a supplementary note will be sent to all the schools in this regard so that they can implement this change in the syllabus.

what was removed and what was added

The main changes made in the syllabus are as follows.

  • The government has made many changes in the social studies book for classes 6 to 10.
  • The chapter on Savitribai Phule which was removed has been included in the syllabus again.
  • There was a poem on Ambedkar which was removed during the earlier changes. This has also been included again.
  • A chapter on former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru was removed. It has again been included in the syllabus.
  • Chakraborty Soulibele had written a chapter, it has been deleted.
  • The chapters on Savarkar and RSS founder Baliram Hedgewar have also been removed.
