UP News: Political tussle continues over the announcement of Gandhi Peace Prize for the year 2021 to Gorakhpur-based Geeta Press. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh had said, “Gandhi Peace Prize being awarded to Gita Press is like awarding Godse and Savarkar.” Minister Dinesh Pratap Singh has termed the Congress leader’s statement as unfortunate. He said that after Digvijay Singh, nowadays Jairam Ramesh is spreading hatred in the society through negative talk. He told behind the statement to gain cheap popularity. He said that Geeta Press has a history of more than 100 years. The institution has also been recognized by the court. Oath is administered in the court by keeping hand on Gita. He claimed that no other book got such recognition as the great book of Gita Press.
Minister Dinesh Pratap Singh attacked Congress
The minister said that Congress and Jairam Ramesh will also not have the same recognition as Geeta. On failing to fight Modi-Yogi, started fighting with the book. An inanimate book has created life. The great book has done the work of uniting the country. Congress is trying to gain cheap popularity by finding loopholes. In the midst of the ongoing controversy over the film Adipurush, Minister Dinesh Pratap Singh said that the people have rejected the leaders of the Samajwadi Party. That’s why there is frustration within the SP leaders. He advised that the opposition should play a positive role. The government working against the public interest should be exposed. BJP has nothing to do with the film Adipurush.
‘Leaders like Modi-Yogi in front of the country’
The censor board has a different process to pass the film. Dinesh Pratap Singh also targeted the speculations of people of Mulayam family contesting elections in 2024. He said that everyone knows that the Samajwadi Party is not a party of the society but of the family. The party will make its family members contest the elections. The people of Uttar Pradesh have come to know very well. The seats of the Mulayam family are occupied by the BJP today. Rampur and Azamgarh were called strongholds of SP. BJP has demolished the fort of SP. The people of the state no longer have faith in the policies and principles of the SP. In front of the country is the leadership of leaders like Modi-Yogi.
Dinesh Pratap Singh supported Mayawati’s PDA tweet. He said that there is nothing in SP except family. The family is the real master, everyone else is the servant. Sister Mayawati did not say anything wrong. Dinesh Pratap Singh also commented on the Congress meeting. He said that Rahul Gandhi lost the election from Amethi. What kind of experiment does the Congress want to use? I don’t think it will be beneficial for former MLAs, MPs, MLCs to contest elections.
