PM Modi US Visit Full Schedule: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Going on an important visit to America on Tuesday (June 20). Regarding this visit of PM, Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra said on Monday (June 19) that this visit is a milestone regarding the relations between the two countries. In which concrete results of cooperation in many important areas are expected, including the presentation of a blueprint for close cooperation in defense co-production and co-development between the two sides. Know the big things related to PM Modi’s visit to America.

1. Regarding his visit, PM Modi tweeted on Monday that members of the US Parliament, thinkers and people from all walks of life are sharing their enthusiasm on my upcoming USA visit. I thank him for this. Such support underlines the depth of Indo-US relations.

2. PM Narendra Modi is going on a state visit to America and Egypt from 20 to 25 June. During this, he will discuss further deepening the already strong relations with both the countries. The Foreign Secretary said that an important aspect of the Prime Minister’s state visit to Washington is to build strong technology alliances and improve economic ties between India and the US.

3. Kwatra told that all aspects related to defense co-production and co-development can be discussed between Prime Minister Modi and US President Joe Biden. It is important how the relations related to the industrial supply system of both the countries can cooperate with each other. An important dimension of PM Modi’s US visit is related to technology and includes sectors like telecom sector, space sector, manufacturing.

4. In response to a question about the issues of discussion between President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Modi, Kwatra said that we cannot decide the agenda of the discussion from here, but important regional and global issues will come during the discussion between the two leaders. The two leaders can discuss other regional and global issues related to common interests, including the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the situation in the Indo-Pacific region, China’s aggressive stance in the region.

5. Prime Minister Modi is going on a visit to America on the invitation of US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden. Prime Minister Modi’s US tour will begin in New York, where he will lead the International Day of Yoga celebrations on June 21 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. In December 2014, the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution declaring June 21 as International Yoga Day.

6. After the Yoga Day celebrations, Prime Minister Modi will go to Washington DC, where he will be accorded a traditional welcome at the White House on June 22 and will meet US President Joe Biden. President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will host a state dinner in honor of Prime Minister Modi on the evening of 22 June. Prime Minister Modi will address a joint meeting of the US Congress on 22 June. This will be the second time when the Prime Minister will address the US Congress. PM Modi had earlier addressed the US Congress in 2016.

7. PM Modi will also interact with Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of several leading companies, professionals and other stakeholders on 23 June. He will also meet people from the Indian-American community. US Vice President Kamala Harris and Foreign Minister Antony Blinken will host a luncheon in PM’s honor on June 23. Prime Minister Modi will address the Indian-diaspora at a program organized on June 23 at the prestigious ‘Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center’ in Washington.

8. Top US lawmakers have said that Prime Minister Modi’s state visit to the US is an important milestone in bilateral relations and an important symbol of the coming closer of the two countries. Senator and Republican leader Todd Young told PTI that Prime Minister Modi’s visit is a turning point in relations between the US and India. Congress member Juan Kiscomani said in a video message that he welcomes the historic visit of PM Modi. Modi has earned the respect of both countries for his leadership and steadfast handling of this important US-India relationship.

9. Prime Minister Modi will visit Cairo on a state visit to Egypt from June 24 to 25 in the second leg of his two-nation tour. PM Modi is making this visit at the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. Al-Sisi attended India’s Republic Day celebrations as the chief guest and at the same time invited the prime minister to visit Egypt. This will be Modi’s first visit to Egypt as Prime Minister.

10. Prime Minister Modi will interact with senior dignitaries, some prominent Egyptian personalities and the Indian community in Egypt. Along with this, he also has a program to visit Al Hakim Masjid. The PM will also interact with the ‘India Unit’ which was formed in March after the Egyptian President returned from his visit to India. Many high level ministers are included in this unit. Prime Minister Modi will hold bilateral talks with President El Sisi of Egypt. Some MoUs will also be signed during this.
