A large number of women bring their small children to this fair, where they take blessings from the chickens present in the fair by rotating the chickens on the heads of the children, for this work they also give money to the chickens.

The people who get blessings from the cocks in the fair earn well. This fair is organized every year, in which women reach with children. On Monday (June 19) too, women reached the fair with their children. Here, after getting the children shaved, the women got the broom blown, and also got blessings by turning chickens on their heads. According to the information, to get the children shaved and to save them from evil eye, evil spirits, blessings are given by the rooster. This fair is held only once in a year.

This fair is held near the District Superintendent of Police’s office in the name of Kuen Wali Jaat, where hundreds of women bring their small children and the chickens also earn a lot there. They wave a rooster over the children’s heads and claim that the rooster will bless them.

In this fair, a woman named Vimla Devi, who came to get the child shaved, told that this tradition is very old. Newborn children are shaved in this, so I have also come to get my grandson shaved. Children are blessed by rotating a rooster on their heads, they believe that it keeps children away from evil shadows.
