Video of woman blowing notes in the sanctum sanctorum of Baba Kedarnath goes viral, temple committee orders inquiry


Kedarnath Dham News: The case of blowing notes by a woman in the sanctum sanctorum of Lord Kedarnath, the eleventh Jyotirlinga, has gained momentum. While on the one hand orders have been given to the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police to take action on behalf of the temple committee, on the other hand action is being taken against the women as well as the employees of the temple committee on behalf of the district administration.

A few days ago, a case of replacing the gold layer in the sanctum sanctorum with copper came to the fore inside the Kedarnath temple, while a new case has now come to the fore after horse-mule owners assaulted pilgrims on the Kedarnath Yatra pedestrian route. Now a video of a woman is going viral on social media, in which she is blowing notes on the Swayambhu Linga of Baba Kedarnath, the eleventh Jyotirlinga.

This video is said to be a week old, which has gone viral on social media two days ago. It is seen in the video, when the woman is spending money in the sanctum sanctorum, then some Tirtha Purohits are with her, who are not stopping the woman from doing such an act. It is also being told that when the woman did such an act, the employees of the Badri-Kedar Temple Committee were also present inside the temple. He also did not stop the woman from doing so. It is surprising to see in this video that the pilgrims standing near the woman are chanting mantras, while no effort is being made to stop the woman blowing the notes.

Such an act on the court of Kedarnath is unpardonable

Badri-Kedar Temple Committee (BKTC) president Ajendra Ajay has expressed strong displeasure after the woman’s video went viral on social media. He has called for clarification from the officials in this regard, as well as instructed to take immediate strict action in the matter. In this regard, after talking to the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police, Rudraprayag, he asked them to take immediate action against the culprits. In the same case, DM Mayur Dixit said that this act of the woman is shameful. Such an act at the court of Baba Kedarnath is unpardonable. He said that the woman in the sanctum sanctorum of Baba Kedarnath, the symbol of faith of crores of Hindus, has committed a wrong act like blowing money. An FIR has been registered against the woman, while action will also be taken against the employees of the Badri-Kedar Temple Committee who were present on the spot during this period.
