Monsoon Update: North India is in the grip of heat. In such a situation, the Meteorological Department has given the latest update for the people waiting for the rain for relief from the heat. The department told that if we talk about last year, all the Western Disturbances that were there in March and April had passed away, only Kashmir and its surrounding areas were affected. The same happened in February this year as well. Activity continued in the month of May, the weather remained pleasant in the areas of central India, but there was no activity in eastern India. Because of which the temperature kept rising.

Heatwave is coming in Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Eastern Uttar Pradesh for more than a week, but now relief is expected. Satellite images showed that a patch of clouds is being seen near West Bengal. The department said that it is our estimate that from today there will be no heat wave in West Bengal, it will not remain in Andhra Pradesh as well. This patch of clouds is going to come in Bihar. Today (June 19) there is a red alert regarding heat wave in some areas of Bihar as well, but from tomorrow the heat wave will end.

The department told that there is air to air variation. When there is no weather activity, the temperature keeps rising. If there is no thunderstorm activity, the weather remains dry and the temperature rises. In the interior areas of Odisha, there may be heat wave for two to three days. Can stay in Jharkhand for a day or two. In Bihar, we have given a red alert of severe heat wave today, but we estimate that after 48 hours there will be no heat wave in these areas as well, which will bring relief.

The reason for the rains in Delhi is some remnants after the Biparjoy cyclone left. A lot of moisture is coming from the Arabian Ocean, due to which Rajasthan received 20 cm of rain yesterday. In such a situation, it is estimated that there may be 20 cm of rain in Rajasthan. Monsoon is progressing slowly and after next 3-4 days, rains can also be seen in some parts of Purvanchal and Bihar.
