Arvind Kejriwal On Opposition Meeting: An important meeting of the opposition parties trying to unite before the Lok Sabha elections is going to be held in Patna, Bihar on June 23. In this meeting, the opposition parties will discuss about making a strategy against the BJP. Before this meeting, AAP’s national convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has said a big thing about Congress on Tuesday (June 20).

Referring to the central government’s ordinance on the control of Delhi’s services, CM Kejriwal said, “In the meeting of opposition parties on June 23, all parties will ask the Congress to give its stand on this issue (the central ordinance). The very first issue will be the ordinance.”

“This ordinance can come anywhere”

He further said, “I will take a copy of the constitution with me. I will explain to all the parties there that they should not think that Delhi is a UT so it has been brought only for this. This ordinance will be applicable to Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Punjab, West Bengal can come anywhere.”

CM Kejriwal had sought support from Congress

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has met several leaders including Mamta Banerjee, Sharad Pawar, MK Stalin, Nitish Kumar to garner support against the Centre’s ordinance. Almost all the leaders of the opposition have spoken of supporting him. Arvind Kejriwal had also sought time to meet Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and former President Rahul Gandhi for the support of the Congress. Although they have not been given time yet.

Target on BJP regarding the ordinance

Targeting the BJP, Arvind Kejriwal said, “The central government of BJP has viciously tried to capture the Delhi government through the black ordinance. Today the meeting of the National Capital Civil Service Authority was held. Officers have been placed above the Chief Secretary and every minister. The central government will have control over the officers. This is against the basic spirit of the constitution.”
