Couple Beaten In Telangana: A shocking case of a couple being thrashed on suspicion of witchcraft has come to light in Telangana. In a village located in Sangareddy district of the state, the villagers first tied the couple to a tree and then beat them with sticks. On information, the police rescued both of them and took them to the hospital.
According to India Today’s report, the incident is from Kolkar village in Sangareddy district of Telangana. The villagers suspected that a couple was doing black magic in the village, after which the villagers got angry and both were caught. The couple was tied to a tree with the help of ropes and hanged. After this both were thrashed. The video of the incident has also surfaced, in which the couple is seen hanging from the tree. A crowd of villagers has gathered around him.
Couple admitted to hospital
Someone informed the police about the incident, after which the police reached the spot and rescued both of them from the clutches of the villagers. Couple has suffered minor injuries and both have been sent to the hospital. According to the police, a case has been registered in the matter and investigation is on.
According to the police, the local people had accused Yadaiah and his wife Shyamamma of practicing black magic. Due to the allegations, a group of villagers forcibly entered his house and took him to a place inside the village. Here the couple was tied to a tree and assaulted.
