ICC ODI World Cup 2023 Schedule: All cricket lovers are eagerly waiting for the announcement of the official schedule of the ODI World Cup to be held in India later this year. The official schedule could not be announced till now due to constant demand for changes in the draft schedule by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Now an official of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also expressed his displeasure over this.
In the draft schedule sent by the BCCI to the ICC, the PCB had demanded a change in the venue of the two matches. In this, there was a demand for organizing one match against Afghanistan somewhere else from Chennai ground and another match against India somewhere else instead of Ahmedabad ground.
Regarding this, a senior BCCI official said in his statement to InsideSport that PCB can say whatever it wants. But only he is responsible for the delay in this schedule. Earlier he was not ready to play in Ahmedabad. Now not ready to play in Chennai. He is always insecure.
Official schedule may be announced this week
The official schedule of the ODI World Cup can be announced by the ICC this week. According to the draft schedule, the tournament can start from October 5. In this, the first match can be played between England and New Zealand. At the same time, the Indian team can start its campaign against Australia on October 8 from Chennai ground. The semi-finals of the ODI World Cup can be played on 15 and 16 November while the title match can be played on 19 November.
The historic match to be played between India and Pakistan can be held on October 15 as per the draft schedule. In which both the teams are from Ahmedabad. Narendra Modi Can clash in the stadium.
