He will be the first Indian leader to address the US Parliament twice. After that, he will attend the US President’s State Dinner at night.

PM Modi had made a tweet before leaving for America. In that tweet, he said, “India-US ties are deep and our partnership has grown steadily in every field. America is our largest trade partner in goods and services. Apart from this, in the fields of science, technology, health and defense We are also partners. Both the countries are also working together towards making the Indo-Pacific free and open.
In USA, I will also get the opportunity to meet business leaders, interact with the Indian community and meet thought leaders from different walks of life. We seek to deepen India-USA ties in key sectors like trade, commerce, innovation, technology and other such areas.
