Secular Word: BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain said on Monday (June 19) that the word secular has caused maximum damage to this country and its Muslim population. He said that no other word has caused as much damage as the word secular. Addressing a meeting in Karchhana, Bihar, said that the opposition used this word like ‘Fevicol’. Shahnawaz Hussain said that by using this, the opposition keeps its vote bank tied.
According to HT report, Shahnawaz Hussain said that for the last 75 years they (political parties) have been intimidating Muslims and made them a vote bank. He said that the shop of secularism in UP and Bihar is now on the verge of closure. Along with this, he said that any word that has harmed this country and Muslims the most is the word secular.
Will eat litti-chokha in the meeting and will return – BJP leader
Shahnawaz Hussain also targeted the meeting of opposition parties to be held on June 23 in view of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He said that these people will come to Bihar, eat international litti-chokha, raise their hands for 35 seconds and return to their ways. The BJP leader had attended a program here regarding the works of the Modi government.
The ancestors of most of the Muslims were Hindus – Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh
Before making such a claim on the word secular, a BJP MP has made a strange claim about the ancestors of Muslims. Recently, while addressing a rally, BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had said, “The ancestors of most of the Muslims of the country were Hindus. We have also conducted a survey regarding this.” He also claimed that a large number of Muslims are joining the BJP.
In view of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has already started making efforts to bring Muslims into its fold. Various programs of beneficiary conferences, contacts and dialogues are being run by the BJP, which is running with the aim of Mission 80 in Uttar Pradesh, to connect the minority society with itself.
