Instagram Reels Download Feature: Till now, to share reels on Instagram, users had to set it to Story and then it could be downloaded. Some people even resort to third party apps to download reels. But now there is no need to do all this because the company has released a new download option for public reels. Means now you will be able to download public reels in one click and share them on other platforms.
This feature is exactly like the feature present in Tiktok. However, upon downloading the reels in Tiktok, the watermark of the company comes in it. This is not the case with Instagram Reels at the moment. That is, on downloading public reels, there will be no watermark in it. Note, currently the option to download reels is only available for US users. Gradually the company will rollout it for all.
Reels will be downloaded like this
- To download the reels you have to click on the option of share reel
- Here you will see the option of download, click on it. Doing so will save the reel to your Camera Roll.
Note, public account users will have the right to remove the option to download reels whenever they want. That is, you can disable the video from downloading. By doing this you will not be able to download the reels.
This feature has been rolled out recently
Instagram has recently made live the option of adding music clips to notes for users around the world. Along with this, users can also translate the notes. In Instagram Notes, users can share audio clips up to a maximum of 30 seconds. The company started the Notes feature last year. Under this, users can convey the day’s update or their thoughts to others in 60 characters.
