Hollywood star Richard Gere admired PM Modi, said- ‘He is the product of Indian culture’


PM Modi US Visit: India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi led a unique yoga session at the United Nations Headquarters on Wednesday (June 21) on the occasion of the ninth International Day of Yoga and during this he described yoga as truly universal. Top officials of this global organization (United Nations), diplomats and eminent personalities from all over the world participated in the yoga session.

Meanwhile, Hollywood’s famous director Richard Gere also participated in the yoga session organized at the United Nations Headquarters. According to news agency ANI, Richard Gere described yoga as a lovely message. Praising PM Modi, he said that he is the product of Indian culture and comes from a vast place like Indian culture.

After the Yoga Day program in New York, Richard Gere described the message given by PM Modi on Yoga as a message of global brotherhood and brotherhood and said that we want to hear it again and again. Modi is in New York on the first leg of his state visit to the US at the invitation of US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.

During this, the Prime Minister started the program by bowing down to the bust of Mahatma Gandhi in the North Lawn of the United Nations Headquarters. The statue was installed in December last year under India’s chairmanship of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

‘Yoga came from India’
On the other hand, on the occasion of Yoga Day, Prime Minister Modi wore a white yoga T-shirt and pyjama. He started his address with the word Namaste and thanked the people for coming here from far and wide to attend the function.

Modi said, “I am happy to see all of you. I thank all of you for coming here. Friends, I am told that people of almost every nationality are present here today. Yoga came from India and it is a very old tradition.
