Match was in Australia’s grip, big claim after victory from captain Pat Cummins

ENG Vs AUS: The five-match series between Australia and England has started very well. There was a close fight between the two teams in the first test. Australia, however, managed to win by two wickets in this match. After this victory, Australian captain Pat Cummins has made a big claim. Cummins revealed Australia had a good chance of victory when he walked out to bat on the fifth day of the first Ashes Test at Edgbaston.

Despite this setback, the Australian captain displayed composure, remaining unbeaten on 44 off 73 balls and leading his team to victory. Cummins said after the match, "Looks good enough, the wicket was not very dangerous. I thought it was within our grasp. Both the teams spoke about their styles and that is the beauty of the series. We both will play to our strengths. I don’t know which is better but it makes for good fun."

The Australian team is in trouble

Cummins praised Usman Khawaja, who was awarded the Player of the Match for his brilliant innings of 141 and 65 runs. Cummins said, "Khwaja restrained, played in his own ways, did not get caught by anyone. Khawaja has been excellent in the last few years. I’m really happy for him. It was a good feel of the wicket for him. Everyone else tried to play their small role."
