MP: Ride will be taken out in ‘Mahakal Lok’ from July 10, 10 times increase in the number of devotees


Mahakal Lok Ujjain: After the construction of Mahakal Lok, the first ride of Lord Mahakal in the month of Savan will take place on July 10, apart from this, the festival of Nag Panchami is also coming on Monday (May 26). For which preparations have already started. This time, due to the expansion work of the second phase, the devotees do not have to face inconvenience, a strategy has been chalked out on a large scale.

Significantly, the month of Sawan is starting from 4th July, which will remain till 11th September. Meanwhile, the ride of Lord Mahakal will be taken out. This time, big preparations are being made for the ride to be taken out every Monday. After Mahakal Lok Nirman, the number of devotees visiting the temple has increased 10 times. For this reason, possibilities of more devotees coming in the ride are also being expressed.

Sandeep Soni, the administrator of the Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee, was told that this time 10 rides of Lord Mahakaleshwar will be taken out due to more months. The first ride of the month of Shravan will be taken out on 10th July. Nagpanchami festival will also be held on the coming 21st August Monday and ride will also be taken out and royal ride will be taken out on 11th September.

Time of Bhasma Aarti will change

Lord Mahakaleshwar’s cremation will take place in the month of Shravan-Bhadau from July 4, 2023 to September 11, 2023. While the opening time of the gate will be at 3 in the morning and every Monday at 2.30 in the morning. During Bhasmarti, moving Bhasmarti darshan arrangements will be made for the devotees from the last 3 rows of Kartikeya Mandapam so that more and more people can have darshan.

Extensive arrangements will be made on Nag Panchami

Collector Kumar Purushottam told that a control room will be made in the temple itself on Nagpanchami festival. Necessary guidelines have been given regarding provision of tents, drinking water and barricading for the devotees. The collector said that keeping in mind the number of devotees, all the arrangements will be made carefully. 8 to 10 big screens will be installed in the entire Mahakal Lok.
