Sonbhadra big road accident, bus fell into a ditch 50 feet below, 21 passengers injured, hospitalized


Road accident: A bus going from Varanasi (Varanasi) to Shaktinagar (Shaktinagar) uncontrolled fell into the ditch and overturned at the turn of Markundi valley under Chopan police station of Sonbhadra district. About 21 passengers traveling in the bus were injured in this accident. In the information given by the police, it was told that all the injured have been admitted to the hospital.

Giving this information, the police said on Wednesday that all the passengers have been admitted to the district hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. Police Officer Rahul Pandey told that on Tuesday night a bus of Vindhya Nagar Depot was going from Varanasi towards Shaktinagar. At around one o’clock in the night, suddenly the bus went uncontrolled and fell 50 feet from the second turn in the Markundi valley of Chopan police station area and overturned.

District Magistrate took stock
The people of the vehicle coming behind the bus informed the police about the bus falling. Gurma police outpost in-charge reached the spot with a team and got the passengers trapped in the bus out and sent them to the district hospital by ambulance. There were about 35 passengers in the bus at the time of the incident, out of which 21 passengers were injured. As soon as the information about the incident was received late in the night, District Magistrate Chandra Vijay Singh reached the spot and took stock of the situation.

The Additional District Magistrate has directed the District Disaster Specialist to reach the spot and inform about the situation. Police said that 21 passengers were injured in the accident, who have been admitted to the district hospital. The work of taking other passengers to their destinations was also done through other buses. Nine of the hospitalized passengers have been discharged after first aid. While the treatment of 12 other passengers is still going on, they have suffered more injuries in this accident.
