Pakistan and Australia are to be played in Bangalore, while Babar Azam’s team will play the match against Afghanistan at Chepauk ground in Chennai, but PCB wants to avoid Chennai’s spin friendly wicket. Because of this, PCB had placed a demand in front of ICC and BCI that their matches should be played at some other venue.

Because of this, the Pakistani team is shying away from playing on the ground in Chennai.
