Maharashtra Politics: Maharashtra Pradesh Congress President Nana Patole on Wednesday urged the Center and Eknath Shinde Targeting the state government, he said that efforts are being made to create unrest in the society and create a Manipur-like situation in the state. The Congress leader was addressing party workers at Kalyan in Thane district. Ethnic violence has been going on in Manipur since the first week of May and so far 120 people have lost their lives.
What did Nana Patole say?
Nana Patole said, “Through various incidents of social unrest, attempts are being made to instigate riots in Maharashtra and create a Manipur-like situation.” Incidents of unrest are happening. There is no alternative to the Congress if democracy and the Constitution are to be saved in the country.” He claimed that the ruling party’s policies show that the BJP has nothing to do with the people of the country.
PM Modi did not try to stop the violence: Uddhav Thackeray
Even before this, Shiv Sena Party President Uddhav Thackeray while addressing the party workers had said that Manipur is burning. violence is raging there but the prime minister Narendra Modi Instead of going there, going on a tour of America. He didn’t even make any effort to stop the violence happening in the state. Uddhav Thackeray said, PM claims that he had pacified the Russia-Ukraine war, but he is not able to stop the violence in Manipur.
