Here he visited the National Science Foundation in Alexandria Virginia with America’s First Lady Jill Biden and participated in the ‘Skilling for the Future’ program.

America’s first lady Jill Biden said on Wednesday (June 21), education is the cornerstone of relations between India and America. Students of both the countries are learning and growing with each other. We’re looking for people who they want to be. Together we are building a better world.

Speaking on the occasion of National Science Foundation’s program, Jill Biden said, our nation (India-US) can create a safer, healthier, more prosperous future for all. He also said that India and America need to invest in youth to strengthen the economies of both the countries. This youth is the future.

He talked about giving opportunities to the youth, which they deserve. Apart from this, Jill Biden said that we are bringing the entire administration together so that we can make sure that the students have the necessary things to move forward in their careers.

Emphasis on girls’ education
Talking on education, America’s First Lady Jill Biden said, this is Biden’s education path. Free, high quality education begins here. The high school experience here prepares students for the next steps in the future. America and India have a deep partnership. Together we tackle the Global Challenge. We want all Indians to have access to education, especially girls to have the opportunity to get the education and skills they need.
