Bulldozer Action In Sagar: Politics has intensified in the case of demolition of some houses built under the PM Awas Yojana by the Forest Department in Surkhi of Sagar district, the assembly constituency of pro-Scindia Madhya Pradesh government minister Govind Singh Rajput. Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh has accused Minister Govind Singh of getting the houses demolished.

Today, Digvijay Singh reached Rapura village of Surkhi directly from Bhopal to meet the victims and, sitting on the ground, talked to the victims one by one. From the spot, he called all the officers from the collector to investigate the matter and also scolded them. In this case, the administration has suspended the deputy ranger. The incident of Digvijay Singh suddenly reaching Sagar on this issue created a stir. Local leaders also reached with them.

In Raipura village of Surkhi assembly constituency of Sagar district, the forest department team along with the staff of revenue and police department fired bulldozers on the houses of Dalit and tribal community while taking action to remove the encroachment. As soon as the former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Digvijay Singh came to know about the action, he opposed this action by tweeting in the morning. The houses of Prime Minister’s residence are also included in the broken houses. Angered by the incident on the administration’s action, Digvijay Singh along with the victims sat on a dharna on the ground and listened to their agony.

On whose instructions the houses were broken- Digvijay Singh

Digvijay Singh told the media that on whose instructions the PM’s residence was demolished. It should be investigated. An FIR should be registered against the culprits under the Scheduled Castes and Tribes Act. Targeting Minister Govind Singh Rajput, he said that if action has been taken on the instructions of the minister, then Shivraj Singh should remove him and take action. He called BJP anti-Dalit.

Digvijay Singh said that breaking the houses of PM Awas Yojana has been done like slapping PM Modi. Strict action should be taken against the culprits. Arrangements should be made for their stay in the rainy season for six months.

The administration turned out to be so insensitive that people did not even get a chance to take out their belongings. He alleged that inhuman action is being taken at the behest of BJP ministers and leaders. The Congress party is not going to tolerate under any circumstances. He clearly instructed the officers to work following the constitution.

Houses demolished before removal of goods

Houses are lying broken all around in Repura village. Household items are lying broken by their bulldozers. The scene of devastation is visible all around. The victims told that they have been living here for the last 50 years. The administration hastily demolished the houses. Couldn’t even get household items out of the house. A victim had bought a fridge in the past, he could not remove it and it was broken. People told their sorrow by crying. Everything got destroyed. Fake signatures were found on his notice.

Collector gave this assurance in writing

Digvijay Singh called the officers on the spot. Sitting on the ground, a class of officers was organized among the victims. He said that he will remain sitting until the hearing is held. In these, Collector in-charge Chandra Shekhar Shukla, SP Abhishek Tiwari and DFO Mahendra Pratap Singh etc. were included. When the former CM asked how much encroachment is there on the forest land in the entire range and why only these were broken? So no one could answer.

The matter of indecency of the police personnel also came to the fore. The victims put the whole thing in front of the administration. Some notices were not even signed. When matched on the spot, the difference also came out. After this, Digvijay Singh said that till these victims do not get justice, they will sit here. In this matter the matter was resolved after the written assurance of the Collector. In which it has been written about the residence of the victims and their nutrition.

Digvijay Singh tweeted in the morning, alleging that about 10 Ahirwar Samaj of village Rapura of Surkhi assembly of Sagar district were demolished on the instructions of Housing Minister Govind Rajput, built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for Scheduled Castes. Why? Because they are not afraid of the minister. Digvijay Singh will reach Rapura village of Surkhi Vidhan Sabha to meet the victim families on Thursday (June 22) and will meet and inquire about the action taken by the victim families. These houses were built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Ranger suspended for negligence in the matter – Minister Govind Rajput

Minister Govind Singh Rajput says that today morning I saw the tweet of Digvijay Singh ji, he said that some houses of Surkhi assembly constituency have been demolished, which belong to Dalits. I have spoken to the collector.

Talked to the DFO with the officials of the Forest Department, then the DFO told that it was the place of the Forest Department, so the encroachment has been removed. I said that they should be measured correctly and seen again. If they do not have space, they should be given pattas and they should also be displaced. He told that Ranger Lakhan Singh has been suspended for negligence in this matter.

DFO said the land belonged to the forest department

Regarding this whole matter, DFO of South Forest Division Mahendra Pratap Singh said that the encroachment has been removed from the forest department’s land in village Rapura. On Wednesday (June 21), encroachment of people illegally occupying forest land has been removed in the action of Forest Department, Revenue Department, Police Department in Rapura village. The process of removing the encroachment was going on for almost a year. Indian Forest Act section 27p was also registered against these people. Section C notice was also filed. Many times, after giving notice, it was asked to voluntarily remove the encroachment.
