IND vs WI: Not Shubman Gill, but this star opener of CSK will get a chance in T20 series, know the reason

Indian vs West Indies T20I: The Indian team will tour the West Indies next month (July), where the team will play a series of Test, ODI and T20 International matches. Before this tour, many big changes are being talked about in the Indian Test and T20 team. Along with the Test, there is talk of including young players in the T20 series as well. Meanwhile, there can be a big change in the T20 series. Actually, Ruturaj Gaikwad can be given a chance in place of Shubman Gill in the T20 team.

Chennai Super Kings star opener Ruturaj Gaikwad has so far played 9 T20 International matches for India, in which he has scored 135 runs. And Gaikwad’s high score has been 57 runs. In IPL 2023, Gaikwad performed brilliantly while playing for Chennai.

He scored 590 runs in 15 innings of 16 matches at an average of 42.14 and a strike rate of 147.50. In such a situation, he can be given another chance in the Indian team. He played his last T20 International match almost a year ago on June 26, 2022 against Ireland.

Why can Shubman Gill be out?

According to media reports, Shubman Gill can be rested from the T20 series against the West Indies. Due to this, Ruturaj Gaikwad can be given a chance to join the Indian T20 team once again. However, Gaikwad has not been able to leave much impact in the T20 International matches played so far.
