Referring to several institution-based labor surveys conducted by the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Bhupendra Yadav said that between 2014 and 2022, about 1.25 crore new employment opportunities have been created. He was giving information about the achievements of the government during the nine years tenure of the Modi government.

Citing the figures of Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), Bhupendra Yadav said, if we look at the figures of EPFO, then the number of pensioners under the Employees Pension Scheme 1995 has increased to 72 lakhs in the financial year 2021-22 while in the financial year 2014-15 Their number was only 51 lakhs. He told that during this period about 22 lakh people retired but there has been a continuous increase in registration under the social security scheme run by EPFO. The Labor Minister said that the total number of registered subscribers of EPFO ​​was 15.84 crore in 2014-15, which increased to 27.73 crore in 2021-22.

Referring to the payroll data released for the month of April of EPFO ​​released two days ago, he said that in the month of April this year, 17.20 lakh new members have become part of EPFO. He said that the National Career Service (NCS) portal has helped in gathering information about 1.39 crore vacancies in the last nine years.

Bhupendra Yadav said that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the focus of the government has been on service, good governance, welfare. When we talk about Seva and Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, it shows that we have taken care of both organized and unorganized workers in the country. The Labor Minister said that the organized labor is only 10 percent of the total workforce of the country while 90 percent of the laborers come from the unorganized sector.
