PM Narendra Modi US Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with President Joe Biden at the White House on Thursday (June 22). After this meeting, a joint press conference was held by PM Modi and Biden in which they were questioned about human rights and minorities in India.
On this PM Modi said that there is democracy in India. As President Biden said that both have democracy in their DNA, we live democracy. Our government runs on the basis of the constitution made on the basis of the values of democracy. There is no discrimination regarding cast, creed and gender here.
PM Modi said that if there is no human values and human rights then there is no democracy. India runs with everyone’s support, everyone’s faith and everyone’s effort. During this, he once again raised the issue of terrorism.

What did US President Joe Biden say?
The US President said, “I had a conversation with PM Modi regarding democratic values. Both countries believe in democracy, diversity, culture. Democratic values are in the DNA of India and America.” He further said that India is now the most populous country in the world. This is a democracy. We understand that it is the talent and backbone of our people.
President Wyden said, “I had a very productive meeting with PM Modi today. We have met many times over the years. Meanwhile, Indo-US relations have grown stronger. Trade has also doubled between the two countries in the past decades.” .”
