Union Minister RK Singh lashed out at the Opposition, ‘giving free electricity after taking a loan’

RK Singh on Free Electricity: Union Minister RK Singh (RK Singh) has targeted the opposition for the announcements of free electricity during the elections. RK Singh said that many states are giving free electricity by taking loans. The basic problem is that the revenue of the states which are giving free units goes only to repay the loan.

RK Singh said, “In the case of free electricity, the situation has become such that the government does not have any money left to pay the employees. By declaring free electricity for power, the parties kill themselves.” On the problem of electricity and stock, he said earlier we were in deficit but now it is not so.

What did the minister say on the electricity stock?

Union Energy Minister said, “Now we are not the third power consumer in the world. The demand is 2,23,000 MG but today we have added generation capacity and today there is 4,16,000 generation capacity. Electricity has been connected to every corner of the country.” Now there is no scope for power shortage.”

Is RK Singh on the meeting of the opposition?

He said, the Modi government has done the work of providing electricity to 2 crore 90 lakh homes. We have increased the availability of electricity, but now the people who announce free electricity are pressing the states with the burden of debt. Apart from this, regarding the meeting of opposition parties, he said that Nitish is doing all this to cover up his failures so that no one questions.

In fact, it is often seen at the time of elections that all political parties go among the public and promise free things. Announcements of free electricity, water, bus travel, education, treatment are often a part of election promises. PM Modi had termed it as ‘rewry culture’.
