Cheteshwar Pujara may be dropped from the Test team against West Indies, know who can get a chance

Indian Tour of West Indies: The Indian team will go on West Indies tour next month i.e. in July. Team India will play a series of Test, ODI and T20 International matches on this tour. The tour will start from July 12 through a Test match. Many major changes can be seen in the Indian team for this Test series. The first change in this can be in the form of Cheteshwar Pujara, the star batsman of the Test team. Pujara may be dropped from the Test team for this tour.

In place of Pujara, star batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal or Sarfaraz Khan can get a chance in the team. Jaiswal performed brilliantly while playing for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2023. Since his performance, there has been a demand to include the Rajasthan batsman in Team India. On the other hand, Sarfaraz Khan, who has been performing brilliantly in first-class matches for a long time, can also be a part of Team India in this tour.

It was also told in many media reports that left-handed star batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal can be given a chance in place of Cheteshwar Pujara in the Indian Test team on West Indies tour. Jayaswal also went to England as a standby player with Team India in the final of the recently played World Test Championship. At the same time, there has been a demand to include Sarfaraz Khan in the Indian team for a long time. In such a situation, first class star Sarfaraz Khan can also be included in Team India on West Indies tour.

Jaiswal created havoc in IPL 2023

Left-handed opener batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal, who played for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 16, appeared in a very good form. Batting in 14 matches, he scored 625 runs at an average of 48.08 and a strike rate of 163.61. During this, 1 century and 5 half-centuries came out of his bat. Whereas, Jaiswal hit 82 fours and 26 sixes in the season.
