UP Crime News: A girl student of Kushinagar, who was preparing for competitive exams in Delhi, was raped. The allegation has been leveled against the registrar of Maharajganj, Rakesh Ram. Rakesh Ram is posted in the Deputy Registrar Office of Sadar Tehsil area. The student says that blackmail was also done by making obscene videos. Fed up with the blackmailing, the student reached the registry office on Tuesday with her mother to talk to the registrar, Rakesh Ram. The registrar got furious after seeing the student in the office. The matter came to a fight between the two.
Blackmailing by making obscene videos
The student alleges that the registrar, along with fellow Shailendra Singh Chauhan and associate Verma Jan, beat her with kicks and punches. Due to the injury, the student started bleeding from the nose. The mother who came to the rescue also got injured due to the fight. The victim student says that the registrar Rakesh Ram is inclined towards Islam. He also used to pressurize the student to convert to Islam.
Case against three including registrar
The girl student alleges that Shailendra Singh Chauhan, the associate of the registrar, also made physical relations forcibly. On opposing, both used to beat. He also tried several times to kill himself. Kotwali police reached on the information of fight in the registry office. After listening to the victim’s complaint, the police registered a case against the registrar Rakesh Ram, fellow Shailendra Singh Chauhan and office assistant Verma under serious sections. Inspector in-charge of Kotwali Ravi Kumar Roy said that on the complaint of the girl student, a case has been registered against the registrar Rakesh Ram, Shailendra Singh Chauhan and office assistant Verma under sections 376, 377, 323, 504, 506,120B IPC.
