In Kota, the throat of the tea stall was cleared in ‘seconds’, why did the thief drink a cup of tea on the way?

Kota News: Incidents of theft are common at Kota Railway Station in Rajasthan. On the other hand, if a thief comes to steal and while stealing goes away after drinking tea, it seems a bit strange. One such incident of theft came to the fore on Thursday (June 22), when a thief entered inside a stall at the station and sat down and stole money from the neck. After stealing money from the street, while leaving, the thief also takes a cup of tea, so that people think that he had come to buy tea.

In this regard, the victim stall operator Anil Sharma told that there is a tea and food stall at his station, which operates on district platform number 4. This stall present at the station remains open for 24 hours. There is a lot of movement of passengers at Kota railway station, so there are always employees here. In this case, when there was no train at the station at the time of the incident, the employee went to the toilet for two minutes. When I came back to the stall, I was stunned, because the money holder’s throat was lying open.

Theft case revealed by CCTV

Seeing the open throat, the stall operator Anil Sharma felt that the nearby stall operators must have played a joke. After enquiry, when money was found missing from the street, the operator checked the CCTV camera installed at the stall, after seeing the footage, he understood the whole matter of theft. This incident of theft happened at 3 in the morning, when there is less movement of passengers at the station.

The thief entered as soon as the employee left

Anil Sharma told that the thief has stolen about two and a half thousand rupees from the street. When I checked the CCTV, it came to light that he had committed the theft in less than a minute and left. As soon as the employee left the stall, the thief came inside. The thief is clearly visible in the CCTV taking out money from the street. While leaving, the thief filled a cup of tea from a thermos (kettle) and went away drinking tea.
