Patna: A meeting of opposition parties is being held in Bihar’s capital Patna on Friday (June 23). The meeting is being hosted by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The reason behind this is to defeat the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. BJP leader Sushil Modi has attacked the meeting of opposition parties. He said that gathering over tea does not mean opposition unity and eating food together does not mean opposition unity. He has termed this meeting as “Dil mile na mile, haath milayenge”. During this, he has also targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee.

Sushil Modi said that the opposition in Bihar is already united, but will the opposition be able to unite in states like Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. Along with this, he said whether Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee will leave the seat for Congress? Taking a jibe at Mamta Banerjee, the former CM said that the Bengal CM often says that the Congress should leave Bengal, you do not need to fight in Bengal. So will Congress leave Bengal to Mamta Banerjee? He further said that if the opposition has united, then first show unity in the battle of Bengal. Kejriwal is blackmailing- Sushil Modi
BJP leader Sushil Modi launched a scathing attack on Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. He said that Arvind Kejriwal is putting a condition, blackmailing before the meeting that my issue should be discussed first. Will Congress leave Punjab and Delhi in the hands of Arvind Kejriwal? Will these people be able to come together in states where there is no opposition unity? He further said that even in the meeting of the opposition party, half a dozen people did not turn up. This unity is about “dil mile na mile, haath zaroor milayenge”.
BJP leader Sushil Modi said that this type of exercise is done before every Lok Sabha election. This is not happening for the first time. Sometimes Sharad Pawar will call a meeting, sometimes Rahul Gandhi will call a meeting. Since no one will come on Rahul Gandhi’s call, people are annoyed with him, hence the responsibility has been given to Nitish Kumar. The main obstacle in the entire alliance is the Congress. Arvind Kejriwal, Mamta Banerjee, KCR will allow this one is two one, I do not see the possibility of this.
