Titanic Submarine: The submarine that went to show the wreckage of the Titanic ship became a victim of an accident inside the sea. Due to which five people aboard the plane died. Submarine operating company Oceangate confirmed this late on Thursday night.
Issuing a statement, the company said that our CEO Stockton Rush, Prince Dawood and his son Sulaiman Dawood, Hamish Harding and Paul-Henri Nargiolet are no longer with us. Significantly, on Sunday, all these people went to the deep sea to see the wreckage of the Titanic ship that sank in 1912 by boarding the submarine Titan.
Five key things about Prince Dawood
1- Prince Dawood and his 19-year-old son Suleman, who were victims of the accident, were originally from Pakistan. He was a member of the influential Dawood dynasty of Pakistan. This family is counted among the richest people of Pakistan. 48-year-old Prince Dawood was the vice-chairman of Dawood Hercules, an investment and holding company based in Karachi, Pakistan.
2- The prince was also a member of the UK-based Prince’s Trust Charity Board. Prince Dawood’s main work focused on renewable energy and technology. Apart from this, the prince was also a board member of ‘The Prince’s Trust’, a board member of the SETI Institute and a trustee of The Dawood Foundation.
3- Prince Dawood studied in Philadelphia before going to the University of Buckingham in England. Where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in 1998.
4- Prince Dawood lived in Britain with his wife and two children. According to a statement by Dawood’s group, his interests included wildlife photography, gardening and natural exploration.
5- In 2012, Prince Dawood was selected by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader. According to the report, the estimated assets of Prince Dawood is around US$ 136 million.
