With this tour, the Indian team will start preparing for the ODI World Cup to be held in October-November this year. Keeping this in mind, the team must have made those players a part of the team, who can join the ODI World Cup, but the name of star fast bowler Arshdeep Singh was not included in the ODI team.

Arshdeep Singh was part of the Indian team in the T20 World Cup played in 2022, but is he not included in the plan of Team India in the ODI World Cup 2023, this question is arising in everyone’s mind. Umran Malik and Mukesh Kumar have been included in the ODI squad for the West Indies tour. Apart from this, a young batsman like Ruturaj Gaikwad has also been made a part of the ODI team.

Arshdeep has played 3 ODIs so far, in which he has not got any success. He played his last ODI against New Zealand in November 2022. And since February 2023, Arshdeep has not played any international match. It is worth noting that in the last few series, Arshdeep was seen struggling with his line length, in which he bowled some no balls.
