Harbhajan’s big statement on Pujara’s exclusion – ‘Hope he is not dropped from the team’

Harbhajan Singh on Cheteshwar Pujara: Cheteshwar Pujara has not been given a place in the announced team for the 2-match Test series to be played on the West Indies tour. Since then, the statements of many former players are now coming in his favor. In which a name of veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has also been added. Harbhajan has expressed hope that Pujara has not been dropped from the Test team but has been rested.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a 16-member team for the Test series to be played on the West Indies tour under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. 2 new names were included in this. It belongs to Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rituraj Gaikwad. Team India has to play the first Test match against the Windies team from 12th July.

Cheteshwar Pujara has been facing constant criticism since his poor performance in the World Test Championship final. Harbhajan Singh, while talking on his YouTube channel after Pujara was out, said that I hope he has been given rest instead of being dropped. The player who has played more than 100 Test matches for you expects respect from you. I hope the selectors must have spoken to him about this.

Will the same decision be seen on other players as well?,

Harbhajan Singh further said in his statement that apart from Cheteshwar Pujara, the performance of some other senior players of the Indian team has not seen anything special in the last 2 years. In such a situation, will the selectors be seen taking such a decision regarding those players like Pujara. Such decisions should be the same for all the players, no matter how big the player is. If you don’t consider Pujara a great player, then for me other players are also not great.
