Jammu & Kashmir: Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti has made serious allegations against the army. He tweeted on Saturday (June 24) saying, “Shocked to hear the news of Army’s 50 RR jawans entering a mosque in Pulwama and forcing Muslims to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’. This happened when When Union Home Minister Amit Shah is present here.”
Mehbooba Mufti called the move an act of provocation and requested Lieutenant General Rajeev Ghai, commanding the Chinar Corps, to initiate an inquiry. He further wrote, “All this has been done before the visit, which is only an act of provocation.” Tagging Lieutenant General Rajeev Ghai, Mufti said, “This should be investigated immediately.”
