‘PM Modi will get the benefit of opposition unity’, said Ramdas Athawale


Opposition meeting in Patna: A general meeting of 17 opposition parties was held on Friday (June 23) in Bihar’s capital Patna on the call of Nitish Kumar. Now the leaders involved in BJP and NDM are attacking the opposition parties regarding this meeting. Now the statement of Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale has also come to the fore. He said, “Opposition parties do not have any clear agenda and they cannot defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

Talking to reporters in Chennai on Saturday (June 24), Athawale said, “Every party has different principles. They cannot unite and defeat Modi, who is a strong leader. Narendra Modi Will only benefit. Athawale’s remarks came a day after the opposition discussed the possibilities of forming a mega-alliance ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Anurag Thakur’s target on Lalu-Nitish

Earlier, Union Minister Anurag Thakur also strongly attacked all the opposition parties. He said, “The stage has been set up, the troupe has gathered. How come they gathered on that stage, where Mamta Banerjee tells Congress to leave Bengal, Akhilesh says to leave UP, Lalu-Nitish says to leave Bihar. So will the Congress be left to set up chairs in the alliance?”

What did Nitish Kumar say about the meeting?

In fact, a grand meeting of opposition parties took place in Patna. In this meeting, 17 opposition parties decided to contest the next Lok Sabha elections together. After the meeting of opposition parties, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that it was a very good meeting, it has been agreed to walk together. At the same time, BJP has termed it as a drama.
